Dear Joseph, Bravo for being the early bird.

Thank you for sharing your brief course description.

I can see that in some section you have applied Open Distance Learning principles of addressing students directly so that they feel your individualised attention towards them. Addressing ODL students personally helps them not to feel isolated. However, try to make sure that you are consistent with this principle at all times, e.g. the course objectives, introductory session could be rephrased from "By the end of the course student should be able .." to "By the end of the course YOU should be able to..."

 

It is also highly recommended that all your course objectives should be measurable, e.g. Objective 1. "Explain key concept of ODL" (this is a good and measurable objective) vs. Objective 2. "Trace the history of ODL" (This is not quite easy to measure)
