Biosphere elements are plants and animals of which physical geography looks at their distribution and variation. The course takes the role of Geography of describing and explaining the earth's solid and its variation from time to time and place to place, including planetary system, geology& geomorphology, topography and soils. It examines the effects and characteristics of processes and earth's surface features, their formation, deformation and modification. All these will be covered under a number of main lectures/topics, including; Geology and Geomorphology, Material of the Earth crust and rocks forming process, Geomorphic and Morphodynamic processes, Oceanography and coastal processes. Dear Emmanuel Kazuva

Thank you for providing a concise description of your course. The course topics have been clearly outlined and your objectives are measureable.

Your target group indicates that the students of your course will be learning through the open distance learning mode (ODL).  I can see in some instances you have applied ODL principles of addressing the students directly. This approach appeals to them personally and it also reduces the element distance and isolation often associated with ODL.  However you need to make sure that you are consistent with this principle, e.g. the introductory section the course objectives could are as follow:

"The course intends to enable you to..."

I also wish your contribution was posted in the initial activity post that I had created so that it can be easier to follow the discussion thread.

Overall this was an excellent attempt. Please make sure that you contribute to the posts of others who have completed their activity.

Thanks Regina for the profound advice and guidance. I will have to incorporate all those suggestions in my course proceedings for the materials to appeal more personal to the students and thus easier be comprehended.
