CIVIL PROCEDURE

The course intends to impart knowledge of procedures applicable in courts and Tribunals in Tanzania. It describes the practice and modalities of prosecuting or defending a civil action from the time the suit is instituted in the court of law up to its termination. The course gives the general view of civil procedure in Tanzania, the organization of civil courts in Tanzania, disputes settlement mechanisms in Tanzania, an atomy of civil procedure Code of Tanzania, procedure of hearing civil suits, dynamism of civil procedure, final disposal of civil suits, judgement and decrees other remedies available after judgement and civil procedure and practices from other jurisdictions.
