Activity 1.2: Activity Profile
Aim: To consider the balance of activity types that will be included in your module or course.
Motivation: Determine the ideal balance of the activities in your course.
Resources: Activity Profile interactive sheet (This worksheet has been created by the JISC-funded OULDI project.
Tool: Discussion forum
Task:
Click on this spreadsheet in order to determine the existing balance between activity types in your course, or to determine the ideal balance.
How:
- This is an individual activity to be undertaken with a particular course in mind.
- Fill in the spreadsheet, quantifying the activities and their types either in hours or as percentages of the whole course.
- Save your completed Activity Profile spreadsheet and attach the file to your discussion forum contribution.
Response:
When you have finished, have a look at the Activity Profiles developed by other participants / groups to see how the nature of their profile compares to yours. Provide constructive feedback on the profile activity of one of your peers by responding constructively to their post in the discussion forum.
